One of the most important figures in the wedding planning process is the Designer, and to me definitely a must have. Hiring a wedding designer could be the best thing you can do for your big day and I want to share all the reasons but first let's dive into the main difference between a Wedding Designer and a Wedding Coordinator.

Wedding planners are all about the logistics, from vendor referrals and contract negotiation to day-of execution of your vision.

They are what I refer to as "the fairy god mothers" who take the guess out of the process and make planning a wedding as seamless and smooth as possible. This is a skill that many can learn, but only the best planners have the years of experience and credentials that sets them above the rest. Some planners also provide design or styling services, helping with the creative specifics of your wedding day, while others opt to leave those details to a wedding designer — which means you'll need to hire two professionals to create the day you've dreamed of. A wedding designer's role is purely aesthetic, and doesn't include things like contract negotiations or attending appointments alongside the bride. Now that we have clarified the difference between this two key figures in a wedding, let dive right into why I believe that a Wedding Designer is a must have.

First of all whether you are a a bride-to-be who is artistically or fashionably inclined, or with a minimalist style, hiring a professional event and wedding designers will help bring together your unique visions to curate the wedding of your dreams. They will help defining your personal style and create a spectacular wedding that genuinely represents you on the biggest day of your lives.

Sometimes outdoor spaces, and even ballrooms, can offer a lackluster vibe and the experienced eye and creative artistry of a designer can spice up even the most bleak of venues. Simply choosing the right rental pieces, and the perfect floral designer for the job, can make a total difference.

Sometime having a Pinterest board is the best way to visually describe your vision and dreams, but what if hiring the right professional can bring that board to life?! It's a designer job to get to know their clients and help take their ideas and produce something that feels true to themselves but even better than what they thought was possible.
